Michael Cranford is a teacher and speaker whose heart is centered on equipping others to face the challenges of following Christ in today’s world.
He was for eight years a professor of biblical studies at Biola University and Talbot School of Theology, located in La Mirada, California. He holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Irvine, a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Religion and Social Ethics from the University of Southern California.
Michael is also a software architect, a pioneer in video game development in the eighties, and a web application developer with a recent focus on voice recognition and artificial intelligence. He brings together an understanding of Christianity, social ethics, and our modern technological society to offer a practical and devotional strategy for the Christian life that makes sense of the world we live in.
He has been published in such diverse journals as New Testament Studies, The Journal of Business Ethics, Technology in Society, and Novum Testamentum.
